Last updated: 18 October 2026. This policy explains how Mimi Insights Sàrl ("Mimi", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Mimi Insights Sàrl, a company registered in Switzerland (registered address and commercial register number to be confirmed). Data protection contact: contact@mimi-insights.com.
(a) Video you record: special-category biometric data under GDPR Article 9 and analogous FADP provisions. (b) Report data: the perceived-impression results derived from the video. (c) Account & contact data: a coach's or individual's email, and any details you send us directly, for example via the contact form or by messaging us. (d) Limited technical data: strictly necessary for the website and service to function, such as the information any web request carries (e.g. IP address, browser type) while it's being handled; we don't retain this for tracking or profiling purposes.
We process video and report data on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a) and equivalent FADP grounds). You give that consent by accepting our terms in the quick poll Mimi sends when you share your first video; until you accept, your video is held but not analysed. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by contacting us. Account and contact data are processed to provide the service and respond to enquiries (performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running the business).
To analyse the video and produce the perceived-impression report, deliver it to you (and, where applicable, a coach you're working with), operate credits and payments, and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not train our models on customer videos.
The report is produced by an automated model, trained on a library of videos independently annotated by a panel of licensed-track psychologists. No human reviews your specific video as part of generating your report. This is automated processing of personal data, and in some cases may constitute profiling under GDPR Article 22.
The report does not produce a decision that has a legal effect on you or similarly significantly affects you: it is descriptive and reflective, not diagnostic, and by design (see our Terms of Use) it may never be used for hiring, screening, credit, insurance, or any other decision about a person. If you have questions about how a report was generated, or want to raise a concern about a specific result, contact us at contact@mimi-insights.com and we'll explain the logic involved and look into it.
The source video is deleted promptly once analysis is complete. The report itself is retained so you (and a coach you've shared it with) can access it. Account and billing records are kept as long as required by applicable law. Messages you send us directly are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
We never sell personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service, and only under appropriate data-processing terms:
A current list of processors is available on request.
Our hosting and network infrastructure are EU-based. Where processing occurs outside the EU/Switzerland — in particular, through the WhatsApp messaging channel described above — it is covered by appropriate safeguards where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism offered by the relevant provider.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies to your situation, your EU supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact contact@mimi-insights.com.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and prompt deletion of source video to reduce risk. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
This website does not use cookies or any advertising or analytics tracking. If that changes, we'll update this section and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Mimi is for adults. It is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post any changes here and update the "last updated" date above; material changes will be communicated more prominently where appropriate.
